Flexographic machines operate a printing process which utilizes a photopolymer or rubber plates to transfer ink to the substrate. Flexo presses are used to print on different materials, like paper, plastic film, and aluminium foil. In many cases, flexo machines can print on both side of the substrate. The central impression presses, also called common impression or CI press, supports all of its color stations around a single steel impression cylinder mounted in the main press frame. Flexo technology is very apreciated for flexible packaging applications because is fast, precise on details and quick-drying.
